LYNCHBURG – Beginning Monday, November 14, a portion of Route 634, Old Roberts Mountain Road, in Nelson County will be closed to through traffic for a pipe replacement. 

The road will remain closed through November 18 and a temporary detour will be in place using Route 619 (Twin Poplars Road), Route 29 and Route 6 (River Road). 

After November 18, motorists should expect temporary lane closures until the work in completed.
