PORTION OF ROUTE 633 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY TO CLOSE
Traffic being detoured via James Anderson Highway and Oak Hill Road

LYNCHBURG –Route 633 (Rock Creek Road) between Route 60 (James Anderson Highway) and Route 629 (Oak Hill Road) in Cumberland will be closed to traffic for approximately 90 days beginning Tuesday, April 5 while the bridge over Rock Creek is rebuilt. 

A signed detour using Routes 60 and 629 will be in place.  The detour is approximately 2.2 miles in length. 

Signs and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to the change in traffic pattern.
