TRAFFIC PATTERN TO CHANGE IN FRANKLIN TURNPIKE PROJECT
Motorists may wish to use an alternate route

LYNCHBURG – Motorists will face traffic pattern changes and delays beginning the week of September 12, weather permitting, in the vicinity of the Franklin Turnpike Connector project.

Paving and pavement marking operations, a new signal and signage will all be put into place as the project begins to come to a close.

Variable message boards and other traffic control devices will be used to alert motorists to these upcoming changes.  Motorists are urged to consider alternate routes during these operations which are expected to take approximately one week.
