ROUTE 600 AT BUCKINGHAM/CUMBERLAND COUNTY LINE OPEN
LYNCHBURG – Motorists are again using Route 600 to travel between Buckingham and Cumberland counties.
The road was reopened recently after being closed for a bridge replacement project. Motorists had been using a signed detour to get around the work zone.
Another bridge replacement project has recently started in Buckingham County. The Route 671 bridge over Hunts Creek will be closed until late September and a detour is in place for this operation.
Signage, including advanced warning signs and pavement markings will alert motorists to this change.
