ROUTE 622 IN AMHERST COUNTY RESTRICTED TO ONE LANE EFFECTIVE JULY 2
LYNCHBURG – Motorists should be alert to a change of traffic pattern on Route 622 (Galts Mill Road) in Amherst County beginning Wednesday, July 2, weather permitting.
Traffic on Route 622 over Partridge Creek at the connection of Route 624 (Earley Farm Road) will be restricted to one lane for approximately 30 days while repairs take place first in the northbound lane and, then, the southbound. During these operations traffic in all directions will be required to stop until the way is clear.
Signage, including advanced warning signs and pavement markings will alert motorists to this change.
