PAVEMENT MARKINGS APPLIED ON ROUTE 29, CAMPBELL COUNTY
Work planned on Sunday, November 5
Motorists will encounter possible lane closures and delays this weekend while permanent pavement markings are applied to the newly paved section of US 29 in Campbell County from the Lynchburg City limits southward.
On Sunday, November 5, weather permitting, Roadmark Corporation will begin work at approximately 9 a.m. This is being done on Sunday because of the lower traffic volume on this heavily traveled roadway and during daylight hours so colder temperatures will not result in poor quality markings.
Signs and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to the presence of manpower and equipment and any changes in traffic pattern.
Updates about this work will be available at www.511Virginia.org .
