TRAFFIC ADVISORY: I-66 Westbound Exit to Gainesville Closed 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 10 and Oct. 17
The interstate 66 westbound exit to Gainesville/Route 29 South, Exit 43A, will be closed October 10 and 17 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. while crews erect steel beams for a new bridge as part of the I-66 widening project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Exit 43A will re-open both days in time for the afternoon rush hour.
Traffic heading to Gainesville and Warrenton will use Exit 43B/Route 29 North, and turn left at the signal onto Route 29 South.
