I-395 HOV LANES CLOSED THIS WEEKEND AND NEXT
I-95 reversible lanes will remain open

The Interstate 395 high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes will be closed to all traffic this weekend from 9 p.m. Friday, July 31 until 5 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 between the 14th Street Bridge and the Capital Beltway.

The I-95 HOV lanes will remain open to traffic throughout the weekend.  Motorists can enter the I-95 HOV lanes just south of Springfield when the lanes run southbound from Friday night until 2 p.m. Saturday.  When the HOV lanes run northbound beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, motorists will have to exit the lanes at mile marker 166 in Springfield and use the regular lanes.

The closure will allow crews to mill and pave the roadway.  The same closure will also be in effect next weekend, Aug. 7-9.
