EXPECT DELAYS SUNDAY FOR ROLLING THUNDER

FAIRFAX—On Sunday, May 25 beginning at 8 a.m., thousands of motorcyclists will travel I-95 and I-66 to the Pentagon as part of the annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle ride. State and local police will escort the riders.

About 2,000 motorcycles will enter the northbound I-95 HOV lanes just north of Dale City in Prince William County, and another 2,000 will enter I-66 from Manassas and head east to the Pentagon.

At noon riders will depart the Pentagon and ride into the District of Columbia.  

Overhead message signs will alert motorists to expect delays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
