Asphalt patching between Maryland and West Virginia lines

LOUDOUN HEIGHTS – A flagging operation will take place along the short section of Route 340 between the Maryland state line (Potomac River bridge) and the West Virginia state line from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, October 24 due to asphalt patching, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Driver should expect delays and are asked to use alternate routes.

Message boards are in place to alert motorists.
