Four Lanes Open to Traffic at Eastern End of Old Ox Road Project
Between Dulles Greenway and Commerce Center Court

DULLES – Old Ox Road (Route 606) is now two lanes in each direction between the Dulles Greenway and Commerce Center Court (about half a mile), according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Eastbound Old Ox Road traffic now crosses the Horsepen Dam Spillway over a new two-lane bridge; westbound Old Ox Road traffic now crosses via two lanes over the bridge that opened in late April and had temporarily carried both eastbound and westbound traffic.

Old Ox Road is now four lanes at the eastern end of the widening project and the western end (Loudoun County Parkway to Pebble Run Place). The approximately three miles of Old Ox Road between Commerce Center Court and Pebble Run Place will have four lanes open to traffic in segments over the next several months. The project is scheduled for completion in summer 2018.
