ARLINGTON – The two westbound lanes of Route 27 over Route 110 will be shifted Thursday night, July 19 to allow for railing and pedestrian fence installation along the west side of the bridge deck, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The westbound lanes will be shifted to the left (closer to the middle of the bridge) between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.

The work is part of the Route 27 over Route 110 project, which is scheduled for completion this fall.
