I-64 east (Goochland/Henrico) – Motorists will be detoured off I-64 east at exit 175/Route 288 onto Broad Street and back onto I-64 east at exit 178 from 10 p.m. Sept. 25 (Tues.) through 6 a.m. Sept. 26 (Wed.), weather permitting. Crews will be placing steel beams over I-64 east for the new flyover bridge. This detour will only affect those traveling through the Short Pump area on I-64 east. Expect delays.

OTHER PROJECT-RELATED LANE CLOSURES:

I-64 east (Henrico) – The right lane of I-64 east will be closed from just west of the Pouncey Track Road bridge (mile marker 176) to Broad Street (mile marker 178) from 10 p.m. Sept. 24 (Mon.) to 6 a.m. Sept. 25 (Tues.), weather permitting, in order to move a crane into the median.

I-64 east (Henrico) – The two left lanes of I-64 east will be closed from just west of the Pouncey Track Road bridge (mile marker 176) to Broad Street (mile marker 178) from 10 p.m. Sept. 26 (Wed.) to 6 a.m. Sept. 27 (Thurs.) and from 10 p.m. Sept. 27 (Thurs.) to 6 a.m. Sept. 28 (Fri.), weather permitting. Crews will be installing steel beams for the new flyover bridge. There will be one lane of travel open during this work. Therefore, expect major delays.
