TRANSPORTATION BOARD APPROVES ONE CENTRAL VIRGINIA CONTRACT VALUED AT $5.2 MILLION
Branscome, Inc. of Williamsburg, Virginia was awarded a $5.2 million contract to patch three miles of existing concrete pavement and repair shoulders along I-85 north and south between the Rt. 460 interchange (mile marker 61) and one mile north of the Rt. 1 (Boydton Plank Rd.) interchange (mile marker 64) in Dinwiddie County. The northbound side will receive additional guardrail upgrades and rumble strip installation. Project completion is expected in Sept. 2009.
