TRANSPORTATION BOARD APPROVES ONE CENTRAL VIRGINIA CONTRACT VALUED AT $2.3 MILLION
RICHMOND—The Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) approved one contract last Thursday valued at approximately $2.3 million for central Virginia construction and maintenance.
B.P. Short & Son Paving Company Inc. of Petersburg was awarded a $2.3 million contract to mill and overlay the existing asphalt pavement on I-85 north between mile markers 23 and 27 (Route 46/Christanna Highway) in Brunswick County. Drivers can expect single lane closures during construction. Completion anticipated in late July 2009.
