VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON CARTER GALLIER BOULEVARD IN POWHATAN
Proposed new construction parallel to Route 60
COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on the proposed Carter Gallier Boulevard project, a new road that will be constructed parallel to Route 60 in Powhatan.
The hearing will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Powhatan County Village Building Auditorium, located at 3910 Old Buckingham Road, Powhatan, VA 23139.
The public hearing will be conducted in an open forum, with one-on-one dialogue with VDOT representatives. The hearing will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the hearing or until June 15, 2014 by mailing them to Scott Chapman, P.E., Project Manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002.
