VDOT TO HOLD INFORMATION MEETING ON INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN POWHATAN
Public invited to learn more about the project on Dec. 6
The intersection will be reconfigured to form a T-shape
COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold an information meeting on an intersection improvements project in Powhatan County. The project will reconfigure the intersection of Huguenot Trail (Rt. 711) with Huguenot Springs Road (Rt. 607) and Woolridge Road (Rt. 721). The new design will form a T-intersection and add a westbound left turn lane on Huguenot Trail (Rt. 711).
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the Huguenot Volunteer Fire Department located at 1959 Urbine Rd., Powhatan, VA 23139. This meeting, held in an open forum style, will provide an opportunity for individuals, business and organization leaders to discuss the proposed projects directly with project staff members.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until December 16 by mailing them to Phillip Frazer, EIT, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002 or by email to Phillip.Frazer@vdot.virginia.gov.
