VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON ROUTE 288/BROAD STREET ROAD INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN GOOCHLAND COUNTY
Public invited to learn more about the proposed interchange improvements on April 11
COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing on an improvements project proposed for the Route 288 north/south interchange at Broad Street Road (Route 250) in Goochland County. Proposed improvements include adding traffic signals and additional left turn lanes in the interchange, which will improve operations and safety.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 11 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Centerville Volunteer Fire & Rescue, located at 52 Broad Street Rd., Manakin-Sabot, VA 23103. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until April 21 by mailing them to Adam Brooks, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002.
