VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING ON DUNDAS ROAD (ROUTE 641) BRIDGE REPLACEMENT IN CHESTERFIELD COUNTY
Public invited to learn more about the proposed project on May 2
The 57-year-old structure runs over G Road and the railroad in Chesterfield County.
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public meeting on a bridge replacement project proposed for Dundas Road (Route 641) in Chesterfield County. The proposed project would replace the existing structure over G Road and add a pedestrian sidewalk. The existing structure was built in 1961.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bensley Elementary School, located at 6600 Strathmore Rd., Richmond, VA 23237. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until May 12 by mailing them to Scott Chapman, P.E., project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, South Chesterfield, VA 23834-9002. Comments can also be emailed to Scott.Chapman@VDOT.Virginia.gov. Please reference “Dundas Rd. bridge replacement comments” in the subject line.
