VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AT HOPKINS ROAD AND KINGSLAND ROAD
Public invited to learn more about the proposed intersection improvements on August 29
COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing on an improvements project proposed for the intersection at Hopkins Road and Kingsland Road in Chesterfield County. Proposed improvements include constructing a single-lane roundabout with lighting and landscaping, which will improve both safety and operations within the project limits.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Meadowdale Library, located at 4301 Meadowdale Blvd., Richmond, VA 23234. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until September 8 by mailing them to Jason Zhang, P.E., project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002.
