VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON ROUTE 46 BRIDGE IN NOTTOWAY COUNTY
Public invited to learn more about the proposed bridge improvements on September 26
COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing for a proposed rehabilitation of the Route 46 bridge superstructure over the Nottoway River near the Brunswick/Nottoway line. The proposed project would close the bridge during construction with a detour in place.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Blackstone Primary School, 615 East Street, Blackstone, Va. 23824. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until October 6, 2018 by mailing them to Anthony Haverly, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002.
