VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AT HUGUENOT TRAIL (RT. 711) IN POWHATAN
Public invited to learn more about the proposed intersection improvements on Oct. 2
Proposed T-shaped intersection at Huguenot Trail, Huguenot Springs Rd. and Woolridge Rd.
NORTH CHESTERFIELD—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing on an improvements project proposed for the intersection at Huguenot Trail (Route 711), Huguenot Springs Road (Route 607) and Woolridge Road (Route 721) in Powhatan County. Proposed improvements include realigning the three roads to form a t-shaped intersection to improve safety and traffic operations.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Huguenot Volunteer Fire Department, located at 1959 Urbine Road, Powhatan, VA 23139. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until October 12 by mailing them to Phillip Frazer, project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. Comments can also be emailed to email@example.com. Please reference “Proposed Rt. 711 improvements project in Powhatan” in the subject line.
