A PORTION OF ROUTE 52 IN CARROLL COUNTY WILL BE CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC FOR BRIDGE WORK
The bridge is located two miles north of Hillsville
This portion of Route 52 is expected to be closed for four months. The following detours have been established:
From northbound Route 52:
Take Route 58 west for two miles
Take I-77 northbound for five miles
Take exit 19
Turn right onto Route 620 east
Proceed east on Route 620 for three miles to Route 52
Or
Take Route 58 west for 2.1 miles
Turn right onto Route 743 (
Proceed 2.2 miles on Route 743
Turn right onto Route 705 (
Follow Route 705 for two miles to Route 52.
From southbound Route 52:
Take Route 620 west for three miles
Take I-77 southbound for five miles
Take Route 58 west (exit 14)
Follow Route 58 for two miles to Route 52
Or
Take Route 705 (
Turn left onto Route 743 (
Turn left onto Route 58 eastbound and follow for 2.1 miles to Route 52
