SALEM – The left lane of northbound Interstate 81 has re-opened at mile marker 167.8 in Botetourt County.  The right lane is expected to remain closed at this location for several more hours.  All lanes of northbound Interstate 81 were closed for approximately five hours overnight due to a tractor-trailer accident.  Currently, no traffic backups exist in this area. 

Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays in this area.
