TRAFFIC ALERT: A PORTION OF ROUTE 615 IN BOTETOURT COUNTY WILL BE CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC

SALEM – Beginning on Monday, Aug. 3, a portion of Route 615 (?>Craig Creek Road) in Botetourt County will be closed to through traffic.  The road will be closed while crews replace the riding surface of Route 615 bridge over a tributary of Craig Creek. 


The bridge is located 0.2 mile west of Route 774, near Oriskany Square.  Route 615 is expected to be closed in this area until Friday, Aug. 14. 

 

Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes around the closure.  Drivers headed to Roanoke should take Route 615 east to Route 220 south to Interstate 81.
