SALEM – Route 784 (Triggs Road) in the New London area of Bedford County has been closed.  Route 784 is located near Route 460.  During the early morning hours of Friday, May 15, a portion of the roadway washed away during heavy storms. 

The roadway is expected to be closed for several days while crews make repairs.  Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes around the closure.
