SALEM – Beginning Tuesday, May 11, motorists should expect delays on Route 606 (Layman Road) in Roanoke County while Norfolk-Southern Railway crews repair the rail crossing near Bonsack Road.

Traffic will be stopped in this area for 15-30 minutes at a time while work is being performed.  

Work will be performed during daylight hours from Tuesday, May 11 through Friday, May 21.  Flaggers will control traffic.
