SALEM – Weather permitting, a section of Route 746 (Sunrise Drive) in Carroll County will be closed to through traffic beginning today, Monday, April 26, so a pipe can be replaced.

The section of Route 746 extends between Route 745 (Stone Ridge Road) and Route 620 (Coulson Church Road).  The pipe carries Shorts Creek beneath Route 746.

The road is expected to remain closed for about four weeks.

Drivers will need to seek alternate routes around the closure.  Detour signs will be posted.
