TRAFFIC ALERT: DRIVERS SHOULD EXPECT DELAYS ON ROUTE 114 FRIDAY MORNING
Crews are expected to remove the existing westbound Route 114 bridge over the New River at 10 a.m.

SALEM – Due to work to replace the Route 114 westbound bridge over the New River, weather permitting, Virginia State Police will control traffic on Route 114 (Peppers Ferry Road) at the Pulaski County/Montgomery County line on Friday, June 10.  

Crews are expected to remove the existing Route 114 westbound bridge over the New River at 10 a.m. on Friday.  The Virginia State Police will stop traffic on Route 114 for approximately 15 minutes while this work occurs.

This work could be adjusted depending on weather. Motorists are advised to expect delays.
