TRAFFIC ALERT: BRIDGE REPLACEMENT TO CLOSE ROUTE 663 (STERLING ROAD) IN ROANOKE COUNTY

Beginning Monday, July 18, a section of Route 663 (Sterling Road) in Roanoke County will be closed to through traffic, so a bridge over a branch of Back Creek can be replaced.

The section of Route 663 is located approximately 0.7 mile south of its intersection with Route 116.  Detour signs will be posted advising motorists of alternate routes around the closure.

Weather permitting, Route 663 is expected to reopen to traffic by Saturday, July 30.
