TRAFFIC ALERT: FRANKLIN COUNTY BRIDGE REPLACEMENT TO CLOSE ROUTE 681 (COOPERS COVE ROAD)

SALEM – Beginning Saturday, Sept. 17 a section of Route 681 (Coopers Cove Road) in Franklin County will be closed to through traffic for the replacement of Prater Creek Bridge.

The location of this work is about 0.10 mile west of the Route 681 and Route 633 (Lynville Mountain Road) intersection. Detour signs will be posted advising motorists of an alternate route.

Route 681 is expected to reopen to traffic by Friday, Sept. 30.

These dates are tentative and could be adjusted depending on weather and work schedule.
