TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 639 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT IN ROANOKE COUNTY TO IMPACT TRAFFIC


SALEM –   Beginning Wednesday, August 15, a section of Route 639 (Harborwood Road) in Roanoke County west of Salem will be closed to replace the bridge over Branch Roanoke River.

The will take place on Route 639 near the intersection of Route 737 (Galdden Road).
Detour signs are posted advising traffic of alternate routes. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect delays.
Weather permitting, Route 639 is estimated to reopen on Friday, August 17.
