SALEM – Beginning Tuesday, May 22, flaggers will control traffic on the Route 734 (Bohon Hollow Road) bridge over the Roanoke River in Roanoke County due to an inspection.  Periodic lane closures will take place between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Weather permitting, the work will be completed on Thursday, May 24.

The bridge is located in the Wabun area near Route 734’s intersection with Route 639 (West River Road).  

The dates and hours could be adjusted depending on weather and work schedule.
