SALEM – On Wednesday, March 21, work will begin on a project to install sidewalks and gutters along the 0.5-mile section of Henson Avenue between Route 100 and Fort Branch Road in Pearisburg.

Flaggers may be controlling traffic on Henson Avenue in this work zone each day, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.  

Drivers are advised to use caution and expect delays.  Signs and message boards will be in place.  

Estimated completion of the project is in late 2012.
