TRAFFIC ALERT: SURVEY WORK ON INTERSTATE 77 TO IMPACT TRAFFIC IN CARROLL COUNTY

SALEM – Due to daytime survey work on northbound and southbound Interstate 77 in Carroll County, lane closures may be in place at various locations on weekdays between mile markers 0 and 8.   Weather permitting, the crew will begin Wednesday, May 16 and be completed by Wednesday, May 30. Work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Tentatively, lane closures are planned for the following dates and locations:
• Monday, May 21, northbound left lane closure
• Tuesday, May 22, southbound left lane closure
• Wednesday, May 23, southbound and northbound lane closures

In addition, shoulder closures will also occur at various times throughout the project.

Motorists are advised to expect possible delays.

Dates and times may be adjusted depending on weather and work schedule.
