TRAFFIC ALERT: FLAGGERS TO CONTROL TRAFFIC ON ROUTE 640 IN BOTETOURT COUNTY DAILY FOR FLOOD DAMAGE REPAIRS

SALEM – Starting Monday, Feb. 11, work will begin to repair flood damage on a section of Route 640 (Lithia Road) in Buchanan in Botetourt County.  The section of Route 640 extends between its intersections with Route 776 (Church Hill Road) and Route 801 (Rice Road).  

Weather permitting, flaggers will control traffic on Route 640, each day, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Drivers should expect possible delays.

Work is estimated to be completed in mid-March.
