TRAFFIC ALERT: TRAFFIC TO BE DETOURED OFF ROUTE 623 (ROCKY HOLLOW ROAD ) IN GILES COUNTY

SALEM – Weather permitting, on Thursday, June 24, the section of Route 623 (Rocky Hollow Road) in Giles County between its intersections with River Road and Commissary Hill Road will be closed from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for work on a rock slope.  This section of Route 623 is located just southwest of Pembroke.   

Drivers will need to detour around the closure using Route 623 (Commissary Hill Road).

If the work is impacted by weather, it will be rescheduled to the next possible weekday that weather allows.
