TRAFFIC ALERT: CULVERT REPLACEMENT TO REDUCE A PORTION OF ROUTE 40 IN FRANKLIN COUNTY TO ONE LANE

SALEM – Weather permitting, beginning Monday, March 31, a section of Route 40 (Franklin Street) in Franklin County will be reduced to one lane for a culvert replacement.

The section of Route 40 is located between Route 785 (Johnny’s Ridge Road) and Route 622 (Saint John’s Loop). Temporary signals will control traffic through the one-way portion of Route 40 where the work is taking place.

The work will be complete in July 2014.
