ALL I-81 ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY SOUTHBOUND LANES ARE OPEN
STAUNTON – All Interstate 81 lanes southbound in Rockbridge County are now open at mile marker 186. This location is near Lexington.
Late this morning there was a tractor trailer accident involving a tanker, which was carrying a plastic substance. The product on the tanker had to be removed before the vehicle can be moved to open up the lanes. According to VDOT officials at the scene the product on the tanker is not a hazardous material.
