PAVING WORK TO BE DONE NIGHT OF JUNE 1 ON AYLOR ROAD AND SULPHUR SPRINGS ROAD
STAUNTON – Paving work will occur on Route 647 (Aylor Road) and Route 655 (Sulphur Springs Road) in Frederick County on the night of Monday, June 1 until the morning of Tuesday June 2.
On Route 647 the work will be done from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the night of June 1 going into the morning of June 2. The work will be done from Route 277 to 0.3-mile north of Route 277.
On Route 655 the work will be done from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on the night of June 1 going into the morning of June 2. The work will be done from Route 50 to the Clarke County line.
The pavers will perform slurry seal application. All work is weather permitting.
The paving work is being done by Slurry Pavers of Glen Allen.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
