PORTION OF ROUTE 629 CLOSED IN WESTERN AUGUSTA COUNTY
STAUNTON – Route 629 (Deerfield Valley Road) is closed between Route 250 and Route 716 (West Augusta Road) due to a rock slide. Motorists can use Route 716 to connect to Route 250 and Route 629. This location is in western Augusta County. The closure is expected to last several weeks.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
