IRISH CREK BRIDGE ON ROUTE 603 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY HAS LANE RESTRICTION
STAUNTON – The bridge over Irish Creek on Route 603 in Rockbridge County has been limited to one single 10-foot lane beginning July 28 due to bridge work. This lane closure will be in effect 24-hours a day and will last until late August.
This location is 1.4 mile east of Route 608.
Traffic is being controlled with a “stop and proceed” sign. Flagger traffic control will be used as needed in the work zone.
The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
