RIBBON-CUTTING TO CELEBRATE COMPLETION OF CHURCHVILLE AVENUE PROJECT
STAUNTON – Churchville Avenue in the City of Staunton will reopen to all traffic on Oct. 12 once crews have finished applying pavement markings and placing the traffic signals into operation.
A ribbon-cutting to celebrate this long-awaited project completion will be held on Oct. 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the corner of Churchville Avenue and North Augusta Street. Parking will be available at the Staunton Public Library located at 1 Churchville Avenue. Scheduled speakers include Delegate Dickie Bell, City of Staunton Mayor Lacy King, and Staunton City Manager Steve Owen.
This event is weather permitting. The public is welcome to attend.
