ROUTE 629 TO CLOSE NEXT WEEK IN BATH COUNTY
Closure is next to Douthat State Park

STAUNTON – Route 629 (Wilson Creek Road) in Bath County will be closed from 5 a.m. on April 14 until 5 a.m. on April 15 for pipe replacement.  

This closure is located 12. 5-miles south of Route 39 (Mountain Valley Road) and 2.2-miles north of the Alleghany County line.  The closed section of Route 629 is at the northern end of Douthat State Park.  

Alternate routes for this closure are Route 220, Route 42 or Route 39.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
