SINGLE LANE CLOSURE ON I-81 NORTHBOUND TONIGHT IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY
STAUNTON – There will be a single northbound lane closure on Interstate 81 on Dec. 23 beginning at 7 p.m. for guardrail repair and installation. This closure will be at mile marker 176. This location is between exit 175 at Route 11 in the Natural Bridge area and exit 180 at Route 11 in the Fancy Hill area in Rockbridge County.
This work is the result of an earlier tractor trailer accident at this location. The work needs to be done before any additional winter weather occurs.
Motorists should drive with caution in this work zone area and expect potential delays.
