TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURES ON ROUTE 340/522 IN FRONT ROYAL AREA

STAUNTON – Alternating lane closures on Route 340/522 northbound and southbound will occur in Warren County in the Front Royal area between 17th Street and Duck Street beginning July 7 and lasting until early August.  The lane closures will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

During this period there will also be shoulder closures on Route 55, eastbound and westbound in the vicinity of Route 340/522.

Crews will be doing soil work in relation to the South Fork Bridge project.

All work is weather permitting.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
