ROUTE 617 CLOSURE RESCHEDULED IN ALLEGHANY COUNTY
STAUNTON – Work on Route 617 (Jamison Mountain Road) in Covington is being rescheduled to June 13 and June 14. Route 617 will be closed due to a slope failure. This location is at 0.77 miles south of the intersection of Route 618 (Upper Rich Patch Road) and 0.84 miles north of the Craig County line. The road will be closed to thru traffic during repairs on June 13 and 14, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Signs will be posted.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
