TRAFFIC SIGNAL TO BE ACTIVATED ON PORT REPUBLIC ROAD AT MISTY COURT
Signal will be fully activated on June 8
STAUNTON – The last remaining traffic signal on the Port Republic Road project in Rockingham County will be activated on Wednesday, June 8. This location is at the intersection of Misty Court, Stone Spring Road and Port Republic Road. The signal was put into yellow flash mode earlier this week to alert drivers of its location.
This new signal will be fully activated between noon and 5 p.m. Message boards will be placed to warn motorists of the new signal. Although the signal will become active, motorists should be aware that the road is still under construction and that not all thru lanes will be open.
