 What:  The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host a ribbon-cutting event for the completion of work on Route 820 (Bergton Road) in Rockingham County.  The public is welcome to attend.


When:   January 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.


Who:  Congressman Bob Goodlatte, Rockingham County Board of Supervisors Chairman Pablo Cuevas, and Virginia Department of Transportation Staunton District Construction Engineer Randy Kiser, P.E. are scheduled to speak.

UPDATE!!  Where:  Due To Inclement Weather:  The event will be held at the Bergton Community Center located at 17784 Criders Road, Bergton, VA. Take Route 820 to Route 826 (Criders Road), make a left onto Route 826.  The building is on the right. Driving directions: From Interstate 81 take exit 257 to Route 11/Route 259 and head west on Route 259 for approximately 4 miles. Turn left on to Lee Street (Route 259) in Town of Broadway and follow Route 259 for approximately 14 miles to Route 820.  Turn left onto Route 820.  Take Route 820 to Route 826 (Criders Road), make a left onto Route 826.  The building is on the right.
