BRIDGE WORK SCHEDULED FOR ROUTE 252 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY
STAUNTON – There will be a bridge project on Route 252 (Brownsburg Turnpike) in Rockbridge County at the bridge over Cedar Grove Branch. This location is .5 mile north of Route 712 (Decatur Road) and .98 mile south of Route 727 (Hyde Road).
The bridge will be closed beginning on June 13. The estimated completion date is August 2.
A temporary road made of pipe and stone will be constructed next to the existing bridge. During construction this roadway will be used as a single lane detour. Traffic will be controlled with a stop and proceed sign.
